Professional Memberships
Mr. Grassé serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. He is a former Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Civil Practice & Procedure Committee and the Illinois Defense Counsel Civil Practice Committee. He is currently an appointed member of the Chicago Bar Associations Judicial Evaluation Committee, which reviews and evaluates potential jurists, and the Legislative Committee, which reviews all proposed and pending legislation in the Illinois Legislature. Mr. Grassé is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He has participated in several seminars and workshops with the Chicago Bar Association, IICLE and the Illinois Defense Counsel.
Admitted to Practice
Mr. Grassé is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is also a member of the trial bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Grassé is also admitted pro hac vice in the States of Nevada, Florida, Minnesota and California.
Education
Mr. Grassé received his Juris Doctor with Honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.He received his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.
